Return to The General Board. Menu NBA. Evan Mobley seems to be what Cleveland has been looking for, a player who with his abundant and adaptable skills, casts the play of everyone around him in a rosier light.
He quietly improved nonetheless and turned into one of the most overlooked playmakers in the NBA. Scottie Pippen didn't get exactly what he wanted a long time ago, and has let those minor slights govern the entire back half of his life. He wears his disappointments about as heavily as any retired athlete in recent memory. A serious issue I run into with 2k12 which is really the gamebreaker for me is a huge framerate lag during My Player and sometimes Association.
Around my 5th or so game in My Player, the framerate began to get terrible. It was impossible to play on Xbox btw.
I have never run into that problem with 2k Also, I may just not be observant, how do you run anything other than the basic plays quick pick and roll, iso, post up, get open in 2k12? The play calling pre patch was so much easier in 11!
Adding to that, the pick and roll in 2k12 is absolute garbage. And who's brilliant idea was it to take out many of the Blacktop options and put in the Legends Showcase? The NBA's Greatest is a very fun mode, and is probably the best draw of the entire game. I saw all the veins of jordan on his strong-arms, it was so impressiv. Last edited by PennyHard; at AM. I have played both, and here are some of the biggest differences I've noticed: Gameplay changes: You can shift into post mode with one button press Ally oop passes are easier Pump fakes are a lot harder to defend this time, you can easily get someone into the air and draw a foul.
Passing is still a bit iffy. Player Mode changes: You now earn a salary. You can use that salary to purchase additional skill points, increase your skill cap, and other things such as improving team rating , buying dunk packages, etc. When your rookie contract expires takes many seasons! There are more key games, and you can simulate to play the next key game from the main menu rather than having to go into the game and choose simulate until end of game.
The previous height limit for positions have been removed, so you can make a 6 foot center if you wanted to :P Because of the lockout, the entire rookie class are randomly generated names really sucks , rather than the actual rookie class of Improve this answer.
